iOS users get major Snapchat redesign: Snapchat’s major re-design, which introduces a universal search bar to the top of the app, among other features is now available for iOS users. With universal search bar, the social sensation aims to make it simpler for users to search for associates, teams, publishers and tales. The platform is also fighting fake news and clickbait by upgrading its guidelines. Snapchat’s ‘Discover’ feature would now prohibit sensitive content, including profanity, overly sexualised content and violent content.

Now go LIVE with Instagram Stories: Instagrammers, rejoice! The live video support launched in December for US audience is all set to go global this week. The update shall be available to users with Instagram version 10.0 and above. To go live, just swipe right from feed and choose Start Live Video in the camera. Tumblr spiced up the photo-game: Tumblr just amplified its millennial cred with photo filters and stickers. The mobile app now allows you to add filters and stickers to photos and GIFs.
