brand has been developed for any real estate builder using Online Marketing as the medium.

It has always amazed me as to how sites like, and others have so effectively used the web, but most of the actual home producers have done little more than develop a well designed but poorly functioning web-portals, which drives some traffic and helps develop no brand. Some are starting to be more proactive, but there is still a long way to go.

Then I came across a visionary company in real estate, which is coming up with a brand new development 35 minutes from Gurgaon. The company is a visionary in terms of the product it is offering (called as Gulmohar Woods), very attractively priced to cater to the working Indian class. The company is a visionary in terms of its understanding of the environment, and development of an ecologically balanced way of life (pollution free, very close to the nature) and the company is definitely a visionary in terms of its usage of Internet Marketing as a major source of reaching out to its customers.

I have been working with this company for almost 6 months now, and I think they have just started tapping the potential of Online Marketing for their business. I have been managing PPC campaigns for them and the results have been truly incredible.

At a fraction (and I mean a very small fraction) of the costs that real estate developers spend to get new customers, I have been able to deliver leads which are easily convertible.

And now, we are looking to do more. We are utilizing SEO as well as the power of Social Media to deliver value. I see this as a very effective replacement of the expansive budgets that developers have to attract customers, and hefty brokerages they pay in the marketplace.

    You may be right, But I know couple of real estate players who have explored the potential of internet. They have fully functional and very informative websites, they are using SEO efectively, and are very much on PPC via various portals.

    I am working with a major real estate player , can I know your startegy on how to use this mode efectively. I understand that the cost of recahing to a customer is very minimal compaired to Print, but why companies prefer print media is influx of leads thru print.

    You are absolutely correct. But such players and few and far in between, and there is tremendous potential for others to join in and take advantage.

    I just found your company and was reading about us page. You guys do have illustrious portfolios.

    With this post – you got it right in the butt. But I am also amazed to find that – although you talked about lack of REAL real estate portal in India, after 6 months of working with Gulmohar Woods, you still don’t have a trading platform for them !
    Have a look at these —

    Do I get my point across? These sites have specific online gateway to directly do businesses and find them.

    But all you do is Social Media Marketing. While I am a great believer in social media marketing that drives targeted clients – its values go down with time.
    with a dedicated gateway – and organic SEOing – you could provide more value to your clients.
    Its just a pointer. I am a little fish in the deep sea – but this is my point. Big real estate projects should have their own web-presence and with good PPC/Organic SEO campaigns they can get greater values at a fraction of what they invest.
