A Sumptuous Platter of Talent and Careers in Media: Bon Appétit
on Jun 20, 2013
There is no dearth of media schools in India to address this need; however, not all of them are ‘equally good’. Which one is good, better and the best is what one needs to know. Probably a guideline, a comprehensive report or may be a survey! Yes, this is exactly what we needed. Being a social media company, we at OMLogic, were curious to know if there were any platforms which not only bring together all the media enthusiasts, but also filters out the best of them, in terms of quality. This is when we discovered about exchange4media group’s initiative, the 'IMPACT Careers 360 M-School Rankings' & 'IMPACT Careers 360 Conference on Future of Talent in Media & Communication Industry'.
We strongly believe that there’s a great need of good talent in today’s digital medium. Since this is our domain, who else would understand this and feel for it as strongly as we do? This is perhaps why, Kapil Gupta, CEO, OMLogic would be there. He’d be discussing ‘Need for Talent in Today’s Medium – Digital’ and how it could be addressed.
The ranking program is meant to facilitate and guide aspiring students for their future career prospects and prospective employers to know better the quality and substance of the various M-Schools across Media verticals and geographies. The illustrious panel includes eminent speakers like Vir Sanghvi, Rahul Kanwal, Amita Maheshwari, Nagesh Rao and Kapil Gupta, to name a few.
The event is scheduled on 28th June, 2013 at the Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon, Haryana. As Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of exchange4media puts it, “it is a Mahakumbh of talent and careers in media. With exhaustive panel discussions on how to reach out to the right populace, what talent is the industry looking for, what is the scope of expansion of Media & Entertainment in terms of fields, target audiences and careers; the event is a must attend for aspiring and established media professionals. In crux, the event is going to be a cerebral feast for the ardent media lovers”.
