Instagram on Android got offline mode: Android users, rejoice! You can now access Instagram on offline mode. Yes, you can now like, comment on pictures, follow and unfollow other Instagrammers without internet connectivity. Messenger launched group bots and discovery tab: During the F8 summit, Facebook launched chat extensions (group bots) and discovery tab. While chat extensions will enable multiple people to chat with same businesses at the same time, discovery tab will make it easy and simple for people to find the businesses they care about in Messenger. Facebook launched AR camera effects: A platform for developers to encourage augmented reality (AR) camera effects. With an AR platform, users will be able to leave a virtual note for a friend at a restaurant or create artwork that appears on a building wall when looking at it with your phone. Snapchat introduced world lenses live filters: The snap-first app just added a new way to use filters that go beyond faces. The new ‘World Lenses’ add AR elements to any scene that users capture through their cameras. The idea is to enable users to paint the world with 3D experiences.
