I must say I am more and more astounded about online marketing due to seeing the way in which the the next generation come in contact with the world with the web. My 14 year old nephew just showed me a portal they had created to organize teenage topics for their peer group. They were interested in knowing how one could create online marketing on the website to . I am very poud.

I Love the "Hope Magical Results" comment! I used to work for that company (which hereafter and ever shall remain nameless).

While I agree content is crucial in my experience engagement, engagement and more dogged engagement is the real key to SMM success. That's why I quit my former company and started my own...so I can focus on a few customers to acheive maximum results.

You make excellent points however in that the actual ROI is subjective and depends on the approach. I would add measurable results also need to reflect the starting desired results or goals as well.

It's not a cookie cutter business and everyone needs to be a little unique so a standard ROI formula seems impossible to me!
