After changing their logo, Instagram has now rolled out its analytics tool. Instagram analytics will appear on the profile page next to the settings button.
This ‘chart’ button will take you to a whole new world. The Instagram insights will give you a detailed account of the following.
Instagram Follower Analytics
Demographic details: Instagram insights will provide an all-inclusive analysis of demographic details of the follower base. You can view this city-wise too.
Gender details: Just like Facebook, Instagram analytics will provide a detailed breakdown of the number and gender of the follower base.
Consumption pattern: The Instagram analytics will allow you to identify the time frame when the followers are active. Apart from this, you can also get an idea of the number of hours that the followers spend on Instagram over a period of 7 or 30 days.
Instagram Post Analytics
Top post: This section will tell you about the impressions and reach of posts. This chunk of data will also help in identifying the number of times a post was viewed by unique accounts. This can be viewed for 7 or 30 day period and it will help you in analysing the performance in the long and short term, both.
